Tetraisobutyl titanate

Tetraisobutyl titanate (CAS No. 7425-80-1) is used as a titanium-based precursor for the preparation of nano-TiO₂ powders, thin films, and titanium-based functional ceramics; it acts as a crosslinking agent and adhesion promoter in coatings/inks, improving weather resistance and hardness; it can be used as a catalyst in organic synthesis (such as transesterification and condensation reactions); it is used for interface modification of composite materials to enhance the compatibility between inorganic fillers and organic polymers; and it is also used in the sol-gel method for preparing optical materials and electronic ceramics, contributing to research and development in the semiconductor and sensor fields.
